Abstract

The connection of public library services with the learning of students in Lorestan province
Abstract
IIntroduction: The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between public libraries and students' learning in Lorestan province public libraries, that It was investigated the relationship between the components of tangible factors, reliability, responsiveness, peace of mind, confidence and Sympathy with learning.
Method: This research is a descriptive-survey type, the statistical population of this research included all library member students with an age range of 12 to 17 years in public libraries of Lorestan province (about 6600 people) and the sample size was 360 people according to the table of Morgan and Karjesi. The samples were selected from the public libraries of the whole province by stratified random method and researcher-made questionnaires were used to collect the data.
Results: There was a positive and significant relationship between public library services and student learning in public libraries in Lorestan province. “The student's ability to use new information in problem solving and the impact of new information on students ability” was the highest rank in learning questions and The library is the best place to spend free time and also to study textbooks was the highest rank in library service questions. There was a significant relationship between tangible factors and learning. There was a significant effect between reliability and learning variables. There was a significant relationship with a positive slope between responsiveness and learning. There was a significant and positive slope between confidence and learning.

Discussion and conclusion: There is a positive and significant relationship between the services of public libraries and the mentioned components of students' learning in public libraries of Lorestan province. Libraries influence learning and are necessary for academic activities, optimal performance and continuous learning of students and have a decisive role in providing resources and improving and accelerating learning and by creating learning opportunities due to unique projects and experiences, they become an experiential learning environment. It is suggested that the optimal and efficient use of this public infrastructure should be made for all students as well as additional education levels in universities.
