Presenting the Model of Education Effective Indices in Hamedan Public Universities

Abstract

Effectiveness has an important place in assuring the quality of education condition in the success of the university purposes. However, reliable indices and coordination variables are not available, and higher education institution management faces lack of understanding of the suitable performance. Thus, the purpose of this study is to present the model of effectiveness indices of public universities of Hamedan province. The sample included the students, faculty members and graduates of Hamedan public universities. The participants were 863 who were selected by random stratified sampling. The research tools were self made questionnaires of students, graduates and faculty members which were implemented after defining the validity and stability. Data were analyzed by factor analysis test, one variable T and F. findings showed that: 1. Four main input indices (students, materials, human resources and schedule), five main process indices (purposefulness, educational design, class climate, evaluating and learning processes) and four main output indices (research, social, educational and economical) were verified. 2. The results showed the suitable condition of input, output and process indices. 3. There's no significant difference between the average comments of the groups about input and educational processes, but there's a significant difference between the comments of statistical sample about output indices and research and education dimensions. 4. There's no significant difference between the average comments of the sample, except purposefulness, in term of gender.
