Assessment of Satisfaction Rate and Attitude of Educationally-centered M.A. Students of Isfahan University about Education based on the Mentioned Method

The general purpose of the current study was to investigate the satisfaction rate and attitude of educationally-centered M.A. students of Isfahan University about education based on the mentioned method. The statistical population consisted of all the educationally-centered M.A. students of third term of Isfahan University (112 person) in 1390-1391 academic year. The statistical sample was equal to the population size, therefore 112 questionnaires was implemented from which 86 questionnaires were returned. The research method was descriptive survey and a self made questionnaire used for gathering the data. The face validity of questionnaire was approved after the initial implementation and troubleshooting by five professors of Isfahan University. Reliability of the questionnaire was calculated by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient 92/0. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The results showed that educationally-centered students were dissatisfied toward their vocational (x̄=2.19) and educational (x̄=2.34) future and therefore worried about their professional and educational future. As well, the viewpoint of scientific community (x̄=2.51) is not positive towards this method. In addition, results indicated that the educationally centered students are generally interested in this method (x̄=3.37), therefore in order to resolve the concerns of educationally-centered students, it is necessary to provide instructions related to their professional and educational future. Moreover, students are satisfied from seminar presentation instead of thesis (x̄=3.60). Assessment of participants revealed that educationally-centered students mainly had earned the lower ranks in the focused M.A. test. In other words, their reasons to entry into an educationally-centered method do not correspond to the main objective of the course.
