This study aims to explain the components of the professional competence of teachers and the education of its position on documents Iran has been done.Descriptive research methods include content analysis and citation analysis and considered approach can be applied.

The study population consisted of two parts, works with professional competency of teachers and the content of the four documents upstream of Education(Twenty-Year Vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran, comprehensive scientific map, document turnaround, National Curriculum).

Measuring devices, as well as inventory taking notes form content analysis was designed.

Data quality documents and data content analysis method using descriptive statistics Shannon entropy studied in the analytical process.

The major findings of this study indicate that:

  1. The conceptual framework based on documents related to the competency of teachers in the five elements of knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and personality traits formulated.
  2. In total, 62 times the concentration of the component elements that competency consideration personality and 22 percent of high frequency and 5/35 frequency components and the ability of the 5 1/8 percent is very low
  3. Among the documents reviewed, the most important factor for a twenty-year vision document and least important factor of fundamental transformation document respectively.
